For billing companies
Every client’s contracted rates, from the payers’ own files.
RateBench reads the rates payers are required to publish and gives each practice you bill for its own fee schedule, so you can catch underpayments client by client.

What your clients get
Three things a billing team can act on.
One sheet per practice: a row per code, a column per payer, refreshed monthly, with the source behind every number.
Upload each practice’s allowed amounts, totalled by code (no patient data). See the codes paid below the published rate, worst dollar gap first.
Every monthly refresh is compared with the last. When a rate on a client’s fee schedule changes, you see was → now.
How it works
From your book to the underpayment list.
- Tell us about your book: how many practices and billing NPIs, and which payers matter most.
- Each client practice gets its own RateBench account and fee schedule, built from each payer’s published file.
- Your team works the underpayment list and takes the evidence back to the payer.
Partners
Tell us about your book of practices.
Every billing company is set up differently. Tell us how many practices you handle and how you work with them, and we’ll work out a setup that fits.
Questions
What partners ask first.
Do you need patient data?
No. A fee schedule needs only the practice’s billing NPI, which is public registry data. The underpayment check uses allowed amounts totalled by code, modifier and place of service, with no patient information.
Which payers do you cover?
66 payers are live: the local Blue plan in 49 states and DC, plus UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Ambetter, Oscar and Medicare. The full list, state by state, is on the payers page.
Where do the rates come from?
Each payer’s own machine-readable file, published under the federal Transparency in Coverage rule. Every rate shows the network and the file month it came from. We never invent a benchmark.
How current is it?
Payers republish monthly, and fee schedules refresh monthly.
Can each client see only their own practice?
Yes. Each practice has its own RateBench account, with its own fee schedules, its own members and its own plan, and sees only its own data. A login belongs to one practice, so there is no single view across all your clients. Tell us how your team works and we’ll work out the setup with you.
How is pricing set for partners?
It depends on how many practices you bring and how you want to work. Tell us about your book and we’ll propose a setup.
